twinpack: 32 weeks

How far along? 32 weeks (compare to 32 weeks with my son here)

Maternity clothes? yes but they're getting pretty tight or shirts don't stretch long enough

Stretch marks? no, surprisingly

Sleep: been waking up a couple times a night now. that little stretch of awesome nights of sleep is pretty much over i think

Best moment this week: staying pregnant another week!! and whenever our little guy comes to visit - AND when I get to leave my room for little wheelchair trips around the hospital :)

Miss anything? being at home with my family

Movement: bigger babies, bigger movements ... all the time. my bump is constantly a shapeshifter and it freaks everyone out (which makes me laugh) - but some of their movements are so big it makes me a little sick!

Food cravings: i'm at that point in pregnancy where food is just food, some sounds amazing but most is just eh. ...maybe it's hospital food? ;)

Anything making you queasy or sick: smells

Genders: a boy and a girl!

Labor signs: some contractions here (including some i don't feel and the nurses ask 'are you feeling those contractions? ... what contractions? so, no)  and there but nothing consistent or strong

Symptoms: pains, being uncomfortable basically all the time. babies are growing which is making me more uncomfortable every day - but i'll take it! sore back, sore hips, waddling, achy legs, walking VERY slow, hard to breathe... i don't know how women who are having multiples make it to 40 weeks. god bless them all.

Differences at this point between your singleton pregnancy and twin pregnancy: hospital bed rest

Belly button in or out? flat or out, depending on their positions

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or moody most of the time: depends on who you ask ;)

Blood sugar: pretty good this week!

Looking forward to: laying in this boring room for a LONG time to keep these babies growing on the inside! but i'm also ready to meet them. i've been on hospital bedrest a few days shy of A MONTH.

Bitch of the week: ...bed rest. in the hospital. but i will take it over standing in the NICU all day and night. <3

How far along? 31 weeks (compare to 31 weeks with my son here)

Maternity clothes? yes but they're getting pretty tight or shirts don't stretch long enough

Stretch marks? no, surprisingly

Sleep: pretty good! quiet wing of the hospital where they don't come in at all hours of the night = SLEEP!

Best moment this week: making it another week!! and whenever our little guy comes to visit - AND when I get to leave my room for little wheelchair trips around the hospital :)

twinpack: 29 weeks

yes i am allowed to stand for a picture. :)
How far along? 29 weeks (compare to 29 weeks with my son here)

Maternity clothes? yes

Stretch marks? no, surprisingly

Sleep: this week has been quite a roller coaster, but sleep is getting better.

Best moment this week: the sprinkle was very nice - and not giving birth was a big plus

Miss anything? not intensely

Movement: i should change this question to 'when is there NOT movement?'

Food cravings: still similar to my last pregnancy, when i see or hear about something and it sounds really delicious, i have to get it soon because i can't stop thinking about it.

Anything making you queasy or sick: smells - my sense of smell is suddenly in HYPER-sensitive mode.

Genders: a boy and a girl!

Labor signs: well. i'm now in the hospital on bed rest until the babies are born. my water started leaking on monday morning and the goal now is to keep them in as long as possible. so i'm not in active labor, but i'm here to make sure that doesn't happen.

big brother visit <3

Blood sugar: the medicines i've been on this week have made them a little wonky, but dr awesome made some changes this morning so i'm hoping those will make a difference.

Looking forward to: laying in this boring room for a LONG time to keep these babies growing on the inside!

twinpack: 28 weeks

How far along? 28 weeks (compare to 28 weeks with my son here)

Maternity clothes? yes

Stretch marks? no, surprisingly

Sleep: pretty good this week.

Best moment this week: my family and friends are hosting a sprinkle for me tomorrow, that should be fun! and my sister is coming in town to stay with us for the weekend :)

Labor signs: braxton hicks have officially made their appearance.

Symptoms: pains, being uncomfortable basically all the time. sore back, sore hips, waddling, achy legs, walking VERY slow, hard to breathe...

Differences at this point between your singleton pregnancy and twin pregnancy: physical discomfort and getting tired and out of breath easily

Belly button in or out? flat

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or moody most of the time: depends on who you ask ;)

Blood sugar: i saw dr awesome yesterday, he said i'm doing great even though i was a spaz about my a1c going up a tenth of a number. we made some nighttime adjustments to my basal rates and i woke up with a better number this morning!

Looking forward to: the sprinkle, finishing up their room, organizing clothes and cooking them for a couple more months.

Bitch of the week: just ... people who don't get it. and don't have filters. and think that just because someone is pregnant they are free to say whatever in the world they would like about your appearance. i want to make it clear that i do not think i look 'HUGE!' but apparently other people do ... i think i look bigger than at this point in my last pregnancy, but i'm carrying two babies. i FEEL heavier and more uncomfortable, but that doesn't mean i think i look awful or really big or anything. so someone else saying it is flat out rude.

i am also growing two humans, so changes are going to happen in my appearance. i'm sorry if it bothers you, i will gladly stay miserable and try to not complain about the physical pain too much for the next 2 months if it means i don't have preemies in the NICU. i want them to stay growing inside of me so they come out healthy and on time.  if you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut.

Looking forward to: getting the nursery put together, keeping these babies cooking until mid august no matter how whiny and uncomfortable i am.

Bitch of the week: random people who think they're allowed to comment on your size in a judging tone. what gives you that right? are you my doctor? no. AND MY DOCTOR NEVER DOES THAT.

Bitch of the week: to the dude cashier at hobby lobby when we were doing work errands, "i'm sorry" is a stupid response when you ask someone what they're having and they tell you a boy and a girl.
