Anything making you queasy or sick: some smells make me feel a little nauseous.

Gender: BOY!!

Labor signs: it's way too early for this question.

Symptoms: growing belly ... it's getting hard to bend in certain directions. i can imagine the fun to come ;)

Belly button in or out? in

Happy or moody most of the time: depends on who you ask ;)

Blood sugar: it's the second trimester roller coaster ... trying to stay calm and steady!

Looking forward to: getting the (new) guest room painted and furniture moved around so we can get his room ready :)

How far along? 16 weeks (on the 16th! i'm a nerd.)

Maternity clothes? yes

Stretch marks? no

Sleep: i pretty much sleep all night, every night. so nice - i'm enjoying it while it lasts!

Best moment this week: a great weekend with friends, new and old (not by age of course)!

Miss anything? still missing runny eggs

Movement: it's been a few days so i'm not sure if i was feeling movement last week, but it might have been. who knows. i'm sure i'll know it when it starts happening more often!

Food cravings: same ... nothing crazy but if i get an idea in my head of something that sounds delicious, i must have it.

Anything making you queasy or sick: not a lot now. some smells make me feel a little nauseous.

Gender: we find out monday!! :D

Labor signs: it's way too early for this question.

Symptoms: a growing belly and baby

Belly button in or out? in

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or moody most of the time: depends on who you ask ;)

Blood sugar: trying to keep it under control. numbers have been creeping up randomly this week, dr awesome might make some adjustments (he said second trimester would be full of those!).

Looking forward to: knowing if we're having a boy or girl!

15 weeks

How far along? 15 weeks

Maternity clothes? yep

Stretch marks? no

Sleep: pretty good, i almost make it til the alarm goes off without waking up!

Best moment this week: that long weekend was quite nice

Miss anything? runny eggs

Movement: well, i'm on the fence but yesterday and the night before i felt some small bubbly business that i couldn't decide what it might be ... after conversing with mom friends, they all agreed that might be baby movements. i guess if they keep happening, that means it's the baby! ;)

Food cravings: same ... nothing crazy but if i get an idea in my head of something that sounds delicious, i must have it.

Anything making you queasy or sick: same... random things. sometimes grilling beef. and the smell of some colognes/perfumes. and spaghetti sauce gives me heartburn. scrambled eggs are so unappealing (probably because i only want over easy, sigh.) and don't taste good.

Gender: july 21 (less than two weeks!) :)

Labor signs: it's way too early for this question.

Symptoms: a growing belly and baby

Belly button in or out? in

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or moody most of the time: depends on who you ask ;)

Blood sugar: pretty good! i'm trying to really stay on top of it of course. i finally got a dexcom sensor after being without it for a week, so i feel much better. ESPECIALLY at night when i'm sleeping.

Looking forward to: knowing if we're having a boy or girl!

pregnancy with diabetes: appointments.

first, happy july!

when a woman is pregnant, there are lots of doctor's appointments. when a woman that has type 1 diabetes is pregnant, there are even more appointments. here's just a glimpse of mine - tentatively (except the ones that have already happened, of course). add in recording/sending my blood sugar log to dr. awesome and talking to someone at his office weekly with any insulin changes.
